Description
...yesterday, Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the Grand Canyon.
...the subjects in the foreground were busy taking what appeared to me to be glamor shots.
...took 339 pictures/images on yesterday's car trip to the Grand Canyon, so...there will be at least a few more to come on this subject:)
Bill
P.S. We are planning to begin our slow trek north-westward today from Central Arizona back to the Pacific Ocean and a take a slow trip northward along the coast of Central and Northern California and Oregon until making a final run for home in Washington.

superb view
Fabulous image!!!
At Last! I have NEVER been able to grasp the scale as most people leave out any figures as eference. This is so much more interesting and enjojable. Thankyou Bill!
Wow, that's quite backdrop. "Now take a step back...another....a little more...lean a little more......AAAAAAHAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I suppose they're dropped off by helicopter, and I would imagine that there are massive legal documents to absolve anyone from responsibility due to hurt or deceasement!
Fantastic shot Bill and make sure you steer clear of those horrific tornadoes that are doing the rounds over there.
OH YIKES! It looks VERY DEEP!!!! WOOOOW What a view! I am glad I only have to look at these wonderful shots.
Wow that is some view superbly captured !!
Fantastic landscape. Perfect view.
this is one superb panorama
Great scenic shot Bill, superb capture, well done!!
Fantastic capture
Wow Bill that is breathtaking. You seem to be having an amazing time & lots more to come!!
Its an amazing place to visit, I think it should be a requirement that we all have to visit, sort of like getting a drivers licenses but it certainly makes you appreciate the beauty that is all around us. Sort of like I believe all high school students or middle school students should be able to visit Washington D.C to help them gain an appreciation for the history of their country. have a fun and safe drive home..
gorgeous!
A GRAND view! Breathtaking. Have a wonderful and save trip home.
Wow What a view Excellent image Hugs Susan~
That's a sight I would like to see in person. Beautiful colors in your capture.
The depths and textures of the Canyon always an awesome sight in this keen kapture, Bill. It makes one feel so insignificant, size-wise.
TERRIFIC SHOT...YOUR A REAL PRO CHIEF :) SURPRISE FOR YOU...CHECK THIS OUT NASA HD LIVE MISSION COVERAGE
A beautiful clear capture of this fantastic backdrop. What an amazing place to visit.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This would be a VERY expensive location shoot! In addition to model fees, transportation costs, extra bodies to haul equipment, and so on, there are most likely a boxcar load of waivers, extra insurance (for that Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!! eventuality), permits (state and federal), etc etc, ad infinium. Wow! Someone is making some big bucks on this shoot. It does give us a real feeling of the incredible depth and scale of the Grand Canyon. I've been there, once (hope to go again), and it really just overwhelms the mind... Fantastic shot, Bill! Looking forward to more!
Glamour shots!!!!!!!! I enjoy a pretty lady as much as the next person, but there is a time and a place! Forget the person........SHOOT BEHIND YOU!
Now I just KNOW you've got a zoom or two of that :-) and with such stunning scenery, who wouldn't? "you thought I meant the girl didn't you'?.......would I ;-)
Just like a painters palette - out of this world, a dramatic view, BB
Wonderful landscape and capture! :o)
What a shot. Amazing to look at. Have never been there but flew over the Grand Canyon on a flight from Denver to LA. It was a great view.
Once again, a mind numbing picture.....complete with model thrown in! Well spotted there young Bill.. lol Great shot, stunning POV! Rob
And you'll pass right by my house on that trip thru northern California--if only I were there!! What a great shot--this is simply one of the MOST incredible places!!
I didn't even SEE these people! LOL! This is an outstanding capture. What a backdrop!
Again, speechless....
