Description
I was working on a 2-D piece, making a brush out of a photograph I took of some cattails several years ago.
LOVED this interim step!
It really is photography.

Well Tara, this has become so very lively! Great expression in it.
Oh, this gives me ideas. What a great outcome...one of those magical pieces that surprises even the creator:) Well done.
I'm on a diet... it looks like a corndog... I want to bite it :P hehehe. Nice work Tara :) ...and I agree that it would make a nice wallpaper.
Great image! :)
You know, this is very elegant in its simplicity, Tara! It looks very much like a Sumi-E painting - very minimalist, and yet much to be seen in this. Now, I'm intrigued.... I made a few PS brushes out of photos, but it's been a very long time.... I need to experiment again. Thanks (again) for the inspiration!
Super work It looks very oriental.
I love the cattails, and this has a gorgeous simplicity!
the pollen on top if any and it yellow can be use as flour and you can eat the roots. cool work on this

Very nice idea. Well composed.
I've always thought they should be called hot dogs. A very sumi-e-ish treatment. Very fine work. I like this a lot.
Excellent work my friend! Retirement is doing you good!
