Description
Thought I'd forgotten about the War between the States? No way.
Captured 7/31/10, at the American Civil War Reenactment, held at the vast and beautiful El Dorado Park in beautiful Long Beach, California.
Much better viewed full size.
Bottom photo an ultra long distance shot, thanks to my 200mm lens.
Au revoir, thankx for popping in, and for any and all favs and complimentary comments.

Such dramatic shots, lots of casualties on both sides. The North has a definite advantage with those cannons.
Great job here Harry, really enjoy this series so much

Dear friend Harry beautiful collage series !!!!!!
interesting collage
There seems to be an excess of horizontal soldiers in the top shot but later explained by the Union battery, at the bottom of this collage. Dana
Hmmm...didn't know General Sherman had made it all the way to Florida...or that they had color photography in the 1860s... ;)
Thanks for bringing this historic series to us all.
In the end...will they all be laid out horizontal? First rate as always Harry.
Most excellent Harry...very well presented.
