Description
Captured back on 4/25/06 at the beautiful Descanso Gardens in beautiful LaCanada/Flintridge, California.
MrsRatbag reminded me of this genre with her last posting, so back to my totally neglected bench photos, tons/tonnes of which I have in my files.
Resolution not the greatest in these shots, but it gets the message across. And I should have employed a few more POVs with the top foto -- taken, incidentally, before I joined the photography department of Renderosity.
Cheerybye, thankx for dropping by, and for any and all favs and complimentary comments.

I love benches in a garden and these would be great places to take a rest and watch what is going on around them. I love the bottom one, it is asking me to take a rest there. Excellent captures and I hope that eye is getting a bit better now.
Excellent and relaxing furniture in large gardens, whatever their style ... beautiful structure for these banks ... beautiful area too. Beautiful pictures of interesting accessories stronger in urban furniture!
Terrific both, but I would love to have that second trellis/bench in my garden. Are those lights wrapped around the tree trunk in the first pic?
I love both types of benches you've captured here, for different reasons; actually, I've never met a bench I didn't like! Beautiful captures both!
morningglory: I really don't remember the purpose of those wires wrapped around the tree trunks. I was mystified by their presence, and there was no one around to ask, but don't believe they were lights; it's been so long since I was there I have no clue.
Wonderful great places of tranquility, excellent captures!
Really some nice captures here Harry, I've never seen a bench like the 2nd one before.
Dear friend Harry beautiful capture & collage !!!!!
Good to see benches facing the plants rather than the path!
Ireally do love the fresh POV of the top image - showing us what the folks sitting on the benches will see! Great shots Harry. Hope you are getter better every day!
That bottom shot of the arched bench, Harry, I would not mind outside my door! lol Its a lovely thing.. Wonderfully taken shots and a good idea! Well done.. Rob PS, stay well mate
Wow, Harry, you and I were a lot younger in 2006. lol. Benches are always interesting...nicely done. Lovely pics.
The world can never have too many benches.. Nice work.
Two great shots Harry but the garden around the lower photo makes it the winner for me. Tranquil! Dana
Would love to ave the bottom trellis like bench Harry...super lovely!
