Description
I took this image on the day before my return to South Africa after my recent one month trip in the US and Canada. My hotel room had this tiny view of the Hudson River with this gorgeous warm sunset in the distance. I just loved how it contrasted with the cold blue midtown Manhattan buildings!
Thank you for popping in and for your wonderful comments and favs on my upload "Fabulous Las Vegas" of yesterday.
Stay well!
Warm regards
Carin xx

You have made a most striking and beautiful picture out of an environment that would cripple my spirit within minutes of arrival!
Beautiful capture!
This is gorgeous--that blast of color is stunning!!
Some of the rooms seem to be on fire, due to the beautiful sunset. xx
This is outstanding Carin.
What a superb shot this is. SO wonderful colors and as you say, the sky looks fabulous against the cold blue buildings. WOW !
You certainly made the most of your limited view of the Hudson! Wow. Gorgeous sky! I love the way the light shines through the corner windows. Beautiful image!
Super shot Carin.

impressive view! RS
Very beautiful capture ! Great light !
Excellent capture! Wonderful sunset between the buildings. :) Most have cost you a pretty penny for a room with even that much of a view. ;D
FABULOUS, VERY CREATIVE IMAGE!
Wow, really impressive, a superb composition!!!
That is really impressive!!!!
I love the composition and colors on this Carin. Also, love the reflections on these buildings.
Utterly gorgeous in clarity, color, contrast, composition and texture, Carin!
Very stunning and beautiful capture, Carin!
Now you know how Moses felt. Looking across the river to the promised land - New Jersey. ;) This is a fabulous image. Great contrast and composition.
Great shot,hope you liked Canada!
Interesting in many ways for a boy who grew up 20 miles from here. The building on the left must be comparatively old...it has windows that are real windows...from the time when office buildings needed outside light to function. Great shot.
very beautiful cityscape and sunset
wonderful view and colors !
Brilliant POV ! Superb !
Its a great view! Have to admit.. Super sunset and everyone raves about NY, but my limited experiences with the NY folks (not fair I know), have not been great.. Compared with other parts of the US I have been to.. Still, may only have been those few.. Your picture though, a stunner.. Well done Rob
Stunning capture!
Magnificent view! Wonderful capture! :)
Been pretty much all over the U.S.....still have not made it to the east coast....now I really gotta get there! t
