Description
Okay, maybe not now - later when it bears its fruit!
I still struggle to believe that this is the flower of an onion!

Incredible photography Clive. My father when he was alive loved his own garden. I remember the days when the onions was ready to be harvested and hanged in the garage on strips of wires to dry. I know these onion seeds well but looks different when photographed. Outstanding work Clive.
A very beautiful macro
Beautiful ! And my day wasn't wasted : I didn't know that onions bore flowers !
beautiful flowers that we hardly give a second look
lovely..!
Onion and garlic are both members of the alium family, as are any plants which bear flowers in this cluster form. If you Google on alium you'll find loads of images and information! I love this image ... the dof is just right, and the light is lovely!
Fantastic macro, Clive You ought to find some chive flowers next
It's gorgeous! Wonderful capture!
Super shot Clive.
