Description
I wonder why this car wheel was clamped...?
(being silly)
... the red line gives the reason away, in an area for buses to collect/drop commuters in the waterfront.
At least R300 ($40 or £27) had to be paid by the diver to be mobile again.

Outstanding capture Clive.
don'be worried! the driver has very good car and certainly pounds to pay the fine- next time he'll be more careful with the red line good shot!
Silly person/ Good pic!
Oops someone weren't paying attention...or just didnt care cuz they can afford to park in the wrong places...cool pic though :-)
Das wird teuer! Beruhigend, dass das auch anderen Leuten passiert lol
How interesting! I've never seen a clamp like this before. Sometimes in downtown Seattle they'll chain a barrel to your bumper. I've never been in that situation, but I'm sure I wouldn't like it much! Aside from my education ... this is a great shot! I love the colors, the composition, the clarity.
Great capture of typical human arrogance
Some people have no respect...we see that a lot here with the drivers of "expensive" cars! The rules apparently don't apply. I hope it was a big fine!
He can afford it mate! They have these special trucks over here that will pick your car up and take it away in 1 minute flat!
His/her own fault for attracting the yellow peril. Nice capture (in two ways).
Excellent capture! ;o)
Lost my car in a towaway zone one day years ago...now I read every sign before I ever leave a car in a strage city. Super pic.
Nice contrast of colors !
Got him!
