Description
I missed quite a few birthdays during my busy time at work. Allow me to please "make right" with this image and dedi.
Corey (coreyblack) - Today!!!! Happy birthday Corey. We will have a birthday drink in January when we meet! Have a fantastic day!
Sig (junge1) - December 3rd
Ray (raydekker) - December 7th
Clive (cfulton) - December 13th
Leroy (my middle son) - December 15th
Today is also the birthday of a very special friend here at home.
The image is just a rose from my garden. I have applied the invert black and white filter and then added a magenta filter on CS3.
Thank you for popping in and for all your kind comments and favs on my last two uploads!
Hugs
Carin xx

A very lovely result and a wonderful rose, Carin. Happy Birthday to all. :)
I too thought there was an eye in the middle from viewing the thumb. But even without the eye, it's a wonderfully processed image. : )
Thanks Carin! Congrats to all the rest too! Looks like a negative! Clive

Splendid rose and fantastic postwork! Happy Birthday to all! :)
You've outdone yourself...but then you always do:)
Have you ever noticed that you get the coolest stuff out of your garden? I think you have, which is why you keep going to your garden and getting cool stuff. THIS is super-cool! I love the way you've taken floral photography and turned it into something visually stunning. A rose, by any other name, is really, really interesting with a B-&-W treatment like this. It's so dreamy and a little bit surreal, in all of the best possible ways. It also looks like a charcoal drawing! WOW! This rocks. And yeah, the idea of celebratory drinks when you arrive in Chicago is definitely in order--or gobs and gobs of really good food! This is amazingly good, and it's a perfect dedication, not just to Corey, but to anyone whose ever had a birthday! Yeah, I like this a lot!
MAGNIFIQUE !!!!
I agree with Chip, this really is a work of art! It looks like something that should be framed. Very classy and I love the post work! Thanks so much for the birthday dedication and you sure know a lot of Sagittariuses(Sagittari?). Love the idea of drinks and food when we meet. Loking forward to it!
WONDERFUL CREATION
Ultra stellar filter manipulation applied to this shot of the lovely rose, Carin! Happy Birthday to everyone listed, and, heh heh, mine is on December 30th. So, the days rapidly dwindle down in commemoration of that event, so many, many decades ago.
Outstanding graphic art. Very creative use of filters.
Beautiful work and Happy Birthday to you all ~
