I shot this image a while ago. If you go back in my gallery, I have uploaded a short series about the little lion cub I called Jonty! He was a real little rebel and a joy to watch. Here mom is giving him some love and also cleaning his face after he had a good chew on that huge bone!

Cats! I love 'em. When all is said and done, Lions are just big ol' cats...pretty hard to domesticate and in need of HUGE kitty boxes, but still...cats. Of course, I was born under the sign of Leo and so any lion image is A-OK in my book, and this is a real winner. I remember little Jonty, and here he's...well...he's acting like a cat: something of a love glutton, and well...that's always good. I like this shot. It's full of all sorts of excitement, and it looks like the family has been enjoying a nice dinner. Or is it lunch? This is really top-notch!
