Description
That's debbielove and rainastorm, respectively. This is one of their favorite things.
Captured 10/24/10, at the 9th Annual Wings Wheels Rotors & Expo, held at the beautiful Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB) in beautiful Los Alamitos, California.
Much better viewed full size.
Since I was at the event, I thought I'd include this bit of entertaiment on Renderosity just to show that I'm most democratic in choosing my photo subject matter. I mean, like anything goes!
This admittedly is not my kettle of tea, so I have no idea what they were singing, or shouting. I just wanted to snap some shots and make a quick exit before the screeching cacophany made a complete mess of my eardrums. Couldn't they have at least sung Stayin' Alive or Don't Cry for me Argentina? I could have used some John Philip Sousa about then.
I can imagine the comments I'm going to get on this rant.
Foto #5 depicts the ladies waving their thanks to the crowd for sitting through the performance.
Cheerybye, thankx for the peek, and for any and all complimentary comments and faves.

Hehe! I enjoyed your rant.
A very realist and ivd series !!! Splendid manner for shooting the singers !!! EXCELLENT !
No matter what they were singing they were putting their heart and soul into the effort. Excellent captures in this great collage and I like the variety of things you photograph.
Harry!!!! Totally AWESOME! Thank you for this...honestly you made my day! Has been a long one...I am sure Rob will love it just as much!!! Looks like they are very much into their singing....would have been great to watch!! Hugs and again, thank you! :-)
Well, Harry a joint dedi for us both.. Thank you very much indeed.. You are quite right, yes it is one of our Fave things.. Great series of pictures my friend.. Thanks very much.. Rob (and Rosy)
They do look like they are really into performing, and beautiful gals too. Excellent series of photos in this collage.
Cool. Rock On!
Nice collage Harry and it looks like the Wings, Wheels & Rotors Expo had something for everybody. Dana
Hard to tell from the shot what they might have been singing, but I'm guessing it might have had a country-western flavour to it...excellent collage!
Okay I am smiling here, perhaps your narrative introduction makes me a bit pre-judgemental. Let just say did they miss a bit on 2nd shot? One arm up...ooops the other is opposite...cute....lol. I have a few picture in my collection what I am not interested at all, but somehow took a shot anyway. You did a good job get a vibe through.
No idea whether I'd like the sound or not, but the girls are pretty and it looks like they're singing their hearts out. Great images! I like the second one. I too am wondering what they are singing about to give it two different gestures. The third one shows signs of high volume. Excellent captures and fun rant. I heard a song recently that brought back memories of rants of my own. I had heard it over, and over, and over again when it made was a number 1 hit and I was in Japan with limited radio stations. I didn't like it much when I first heard it. By the time it beat out a favorite song of mine for the amount of time as number one on the hit list, and I had heard it a few thousand times, I really hated it. After all these years, it was still unpleasant to hear it again. Wonderful collage!
Love the rant...I am with you:-)))
really enjoyed the comments, and your rant's fine with me: I'm from classical & jazz...But you got the presence of a pop band, and maybe it is country & western---if just because of the audience, which looks that kind of crowd more than a rock crowd. You got the postures of pop singers shouting, the 2d & 3d are particularly strong for their capture of those gestures---#2 an upload all its own for the opposite gestures and one singer looking at the other, though the others are very expressive too. The kind of ecstatic emotion is present here too (#4's right hand singer is an example, ie in her face). And you gave us, finally, some audience, which is a good way to end the montage, with one of the singers waving to the audience, as if to say goodbye...I wonder why the set is so grayish, as usually pop bands do a lot more with color & light. But their outfits fit that hue. A very solid capture of a pop band in action, harder to capture in daylight than in artificial light, a challenge that didn't seem to bother you. And with a plentiful bunch of gestures. Fine job Harry, esp as it's an art you're not crazy about...
