i saw this muchroom with some others and i took the phbotos. and then I kick it a little bit to see what happens. LOL it was hard as a rock. I never saw this type before. someone may have posted it here.
Wonder if you can eat it? I never ate a wild muchroom as i was too afear to do it for I know nother about them but some you can eat like a food; some will get you high and you see strange things; and some will kill you deader than a door nail.
I been so busy and the holidays comeing up so if I do not get back on I like to wish all a Happy Thankgiveing

GREAT shot, jocko! (Reminds me of and OLD joke: Police arrested a guy. Charged him with murdering his first '3 wives! His third recently was killed. The cops did lab tests and found the first '2' wives died from eating 'poison mushrooms'. The THIRD wife, however, died from a 'bullet' wound. The cops asked the guy WHY he SHOT this one instead? He replied, "She would NOT EAT 'poisoned mushrooms'!" WINK!
Very interesting with the grass growing up theough it!! Happy Thanksgiving to you!!
What a neat find and such a great capture!
nice capture!
Mushroom, don't know much about them but this looks like Cauliflower to me. George
A fine shot of this strange growth. You are smart not to eat any wild mushrooms that you may find unless you really know about them.Especially if it is as hard as a rock.It might not kill you,but you could still lose some teeth.
your busy huh? I should have hadyou come and help frank and I today getting ready for now, the count of 20 for sure is not an easy taks we have three tables set up lol but it wil be fun: I use to love mushrooms but like you say one never knows if safe or not: Have a great holday!!
Most will get you high as a kite AND kill you. I've never seen anything like this before. I wonder if it's a different kind of fungus than a mushroom?
Interesting mushroom looks like snow thawing!
