Well, ah do declayah!
Captured 7/31/10, at the American Civil War Reenactment held at the vast and beautiful El Dorado Park in beautiful Long Beach, California.
A temporary departure from the carnage on the battlefield to bring you some home front goings on.
Much better viewed full size.
Someone out there should be able to come up with an appropriate comment on picture #5. I'm going to refrain this time around.

There is a most attractive book illustration quality to these pics, Harry!
I'm amazed they're not having an attack of the vapours in #2 & 3, there appears to be a 'damned Yankee' looting the stall.Some very pretty young ladies on display, great costumes will make no end of bandages after the battle.
Beautiful captures of these lovely southern belles in their very feminine dresses. I'm chuckling over capture 5 but I can't think of a title for it. A beautiful selection of excellent captures.

MArvelous seeing the lovely ladies in their elaborate couture! I start perspiring just looking at them. There is probably 15 yards of fabric in one of those dresses! Lovely collage Harry.

I love the little girl in the third photo, she is sweet.
Sure is fun seeing what fabrics they chose for their dresses. Looks like they all get to wear that "fun" stiff form beneath, too. Makes for an even HOTTER day, carrying one's own greenhouse around. The child is adorable!
