Description
You know the old Sicilian saying? Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Fechín, the half-Oni sorcerer, had spent most of his 200+ years trying to eradicate the Gotth in revenge for his Master's and his father's deaths--but they are also his mother's family. Alex, yes, *is* his cousin. Nothing worse than a family quarrel, is there?
By the end of book 5, this has finally come to a head, and...well, this is a spoiler, in a way. Sorrows, the god, insists: We do not kill our own.
Well, not directly, anyhow.
Nowadays, Alex and Fechín (left and right) are uneasy allies, as you can see.

Beautifully posed and I really like that Raphael texture on Alex, it makes him look much healthier than Fechin, for one thing :) (I don't know why I thought they were twins, cousins make more sense).

I like how this turned out. The two equal opposites of each other, looking very much like brothers (or cousins, as it so happens). Alex's skin is really lovely. The shift to the new texture has done wonders for his complexion! n_n

Oo. Ying and Yang, there! I agree with Alex, though. It would be better to have him in arm's reach where you know where he is than find him suddenly at your back in the middle of the night unexpectedly. XD Fantastic rendering, doll-both are supreme.
