Description
...Woodland Park Rose Garden, Seattle.
...finally a white rose without blown-out white areas! This was late afternoon sun already dipping quite near to the western horizon.
...I may be scarce or at least on and off for the next three weeks. It is back to Kansas for a final prepare the house for sale/rent. Aim to be back to Washington by Halloween. And driving both ways...a mere 3800 mile round trip:-)

Very beautiful rose and wonderful photo!
Thanks for the birthday flower, Bill. This old T.Rex is 60 (million) years old today! Beautiful photo, like out of a flower magasine - absolutely perfect!

What a beautiful, creamy color. Gorgeous capture! You're doing great with the whole flower thing! :*
Really lovely, that low light helps significantly with the white blowout thing, doesn't it? Have a safe trip, and hope you don't run into too much weather on the way. ROAD TRIP!!!

Beautiful symbol of purity. Excellent photo. I hope it is an old fashioned rose which has fragrance. Have a safe journey to and fro.

it looks like a "snow white" beautiful picture!
excellent image, superlative rose!
Lovely rose, Bill, and absolutely perfect exposure! Superbly done! Safe journey back to KS, my friend! That's a lot of windshield time!
Really pretty, sitting on back deck of cabin enjoying the view, and the art but hard to type in the candle light and light from computer. Have a great trip and good luck with the sale or getting a decent renter that can be a challenge some times.
Stellar contrast, composition, lighting and textural effects in this cool macro, Bill. And the best of luck on your two way odyssey across the continent. That is some drive, and not exactly easy on the posterior. I don't think I could tackle it at my age. I would get rigor mortis halfway through the trip. Oh yes, don't forget your camera.
WOW! Gorgesou close-up!
such a sweet image warm hugs, Linda
