Description
...found these yellow blooms along a path.
...since they didn't respond when I asked them for their names, I am stuck;-)
Note Added: Per Andrea (durleybeachbum), these are Wallflowers. They are growing amongst California Poppies, hence the 'leaves' that belong to the poppies.

I'm stuck with you Bill but they do make a lovely image.
Really a fantastic capture my friend!!!!Bravissimo!:DDD.Hugsxx
How rude, when you even wanted them as a model LOL ! Wonderful shot Bill :)
Excellent capture! Lovely cheerful colors. They have no mouths to talk with Bill, you have to learn sign-language. ;D
Very rude but gorgeous blooms Bill! WOW - the clarity and focus are amazing! Well done and thank you for the pop of sunshine!
I have the same problem with flowers! Great capture and compo of the speechless ones, Clive
Really beautiful and the colors are amazing. :)
I haven't a clue either but they are very pretty!!!!
I've seen these but sure don't know their name. Beautiful yellow and green colors.
Beautiful bloom sorry to hear they refused to answer your questions Bill kinda rude if you ask me lol.
Wallflowers! Not the sort you used to get round the edge of an old fashioned ballroom, though!
belle photo!
Really nice, bright colors, too. That's my problem with plants - they can't tell me what they need/don't want. For some reason they keep dying on me. Too much/too little water? How about nutrition? Sigh. No answer, just fading. A beautiful change from planes and technical things. :)
They're so pretty! I'm glad Andrea had the I.D., because I didn't know either. This must have been at Lewis-Beckman ... it's just their style. Beautiful photo!
stunning beauty Bill and superb capture
Wow, the leaves look like California poppy, but the flowers don't...unless those aren't the leaves that go with those flowers. They look like stocks or phlox, but not the colour...I'm baffled too. But they are beautiful, and that's their purpose, so that's all that matters!
Must be one of those mute flowers I heard about...lol. Wonderful yellow, for sure boost the happiness by 20%.
WONDERFUL picture!!!!!!
SUPERB SHOT!
Beautiuful Sure brightened my day I usually know flower but not these A fav tho Hugs Susan~
Beautiful color! A wonderful capture!
beautiful shot!
Pretty flowers is all I know, well then there are purdy flours. wonderful capture
Say, I just researched the name wallflowers, and by golly, there really is such a plant, and pretty too, in different varieties! I always thought wallflower was just an expression used for people who were too shy to party and dance. Live and learn. That said, stellar colors and textures in this shot of the flora, Bill.
I thought these may be wall flowers too but the leaf is wrong and as it is autumn with you they are usually seen in spring. I do wish they had spoken their names for you but never mind they seem happy and cheerful. A lovely capture.
Beautiful, bright and cheerful colors - so saturated and clear. Excellent shot, Bill!
rich and exciting color. Fabulous shot.
the colors sure smile warm hugs, Linda
Beautiful!!!
Flowers can be like that, some of them are always just mum. (sorry bout that!! lol)
