Description
Had a day trip to Southampton the other day and spent some time in the Royal Victoria Country Park.
This used to be the site of a huge military hospital built in 1863 and demolished in 1966.
There was a separate psychiatric wing housed within a walled area. This has survived and is now a reception venue and the Hampshire Police Training Centre.
This is one of the gates into the walled area but it looks so much more like a barrier to a secret garden. :-)

It kinda reminds me when I was going to my first primary school... the school had gates just like those. You've managed to get every ounce of colour from that scene. nicely done.
