Amanda can’t help but smile. While Clint and Joey were at her B&B in St. Louis, she checked Clint background and had some interesting revelations. It got her thinking about the potential of getting Clint to invest in her company. She was hoping that Clint would see the business potential of her OK City venture. After her phone conversations with Sean and Simon, she decides she needs to be on-site to help pursuade Clint that his first impressions of that B&B are spot on. And, if Clint decides to invest, they will need to work on the legal aspects of a partnership. Early the next morning, she and Nate speed over to OK City in a chauffered limosine. They arrive shortly after a late lunch the guys are just finishing up. Sean and Simon both rush out to greet their Mother and Nate and fill her in on their late night discussons with Clint. Clint has been doing a little homework of his own and has been in touch with a few of his own business connections. His instincts about this particular business seem wise with a potential good return on investment. Amanda has a proven track record for being a shrewd, and highly ethical business woman. He also picks up a few choice pieces of information he hopes will help him when they start negotiating business details. Joey and Ridge are both awestruck at Clint’s business expertise. They know he is fairly well off from his computer skills, but they really don’t have much of an idea what he might be worth. And Clint isn’t one to brag about his wealth. Thus far, he has just tried to use it for a little enjoyment for himself, but also to help others in need when he finds them to be genuinely deserving. His plan is to someday set up a foundation to work with the homeless needy and put up some shelters around the country. But to do that, he feels he needs to create a larger starting fund.
