As they drift away from the dock, everyone looks around and can’t help but notice how beautiful the sunset is on the river! The paddlewheel chug chug chugs along, pulling them away from the dock and out into the main stream of the Mississippi. Soon, they are paddling down stream at a surprising speed. Ridge and Lance are all over each other. They have been an item before, but Ridge hasn’t seen Lance for over a year. They still have eyes for each other, it seems and can’t keep their hands to themselves. Before long, Duke turns the navigation of the boat over to his first mate and directs his attentions toward Clint. Clint is very flattered by Dukes advances and seems to enjoy his company. But he isn’t really that excited by Duke and lets him know it in a gentle way. That doesn’t seem to bother Duke. He still likes Clint and lets him know he would really value his friendship. While Clint has been distracted by Duke, Nate has taken the opportunity to move in on Joey. Poor little innocent Joey. He never had a chance! Before he knows it, he is head over heels in ‘puppy love’ with Nate. They go to the middle deck and move past Ridge and Lance who are still enjoying each other’s company. Moving down the boat’s railing a ways, Nate gives Joey a big hug and a tight squeeze and tells him how much he likes him. Joey blushes several bright shades of red and gets the biggest sheepish grin on his face and tells Nate he likes him too! Clint happens to look below where he and Duke are standing by the railing and notices Joey and Nate. ‘Well I’ll be darned!’ he says. ‘Look at the little cousin of mine moving in on Nate!
