Description
One more shot of modern Tokyo and then we’ll do some serious sightseeing. We visited what was the tallest building in Japan at the time. I don’t remember the name but it was fifty-two stories high and the first one built on shock absorbers. It was also designed to ‘twist’ in the event of an earthquake and was built around an empty central core. You could look through a skylight in the lobby, straight up all fifty-two stories. So I, of course, decided to lie down in the middle of the busy lobby to get the shot. No one was hurt, no one was arrested so I guess it was worth it.

Cool shot! It was definitely worth it!
Innovative structure and POV for you:) This view jumped right off the page into my lap.
Fascinating view!
Very worth it! I love the way the three lighter, narrower planes travel up to a blaze of light! It has a science fiction feel to it. Cool looking grid on the skylight! Being on the top floor during an earthquake would be...interesting. I wonder how many Japanese took pictures of you taking pictures of the building. Terrific capture! Glad you decided to lie down on the job!
wonderful image!
Definitely worth the risk. a startling pic!
I have yet to lie down in a public place for a photo, but I can see why it should be done! Great shot.
