Great framing and picture. Brings back memories; the junior school I attended was evacuated to Bolton Hall during the war.
Looks more like a crack in the wall than a gate, But that does not lessen the quality of the picture. Nice, deep perspective, looking down almost on your feet, but also all the way to the horizon.
