Description
1948 Chrysler Windsor Sedan
Today we went to the Arlington Fly-In to see an air show and hang out with friends who had been camping there all week.
This is my first ever pic from a real live air show! :)
Check the reflections and you'll see all sorts of interesting things.

Wonderful capture and great reflections. I hope you wore ear protection
Gorgeous photo, excellent reflexions, very well done!
I love it! Tara goes to an air show and takes a picture of a car! The reflection is first rate.
Lol, yeah, didn't you say this was an AIR show??? Oh, maybe this car has wings? lol--great shot anyway!!
Great shot I can see one wing.
Lovely car shot at the AIR show lol, Do see a reflection of a plane in the car's paint!! Well done!!
You are right, there are many things to see in the reflections. Even a super panorama :-))) Excellent capture Tara :-)
nice shot my friend
VERY interesting! And you didn't crick your neck to get the shot.
nice old car..and lovely reflection
Oh how neat! Great catch Tara and a fresh new look at an air show!
I'm not saying a word, Tara! Oh! alright then....You don't know what you been missing! lol.. I don't quite place this type of aircraft though! lol Love the detailing.. The chrome is shining on it nicely! Good work, and hope you had fun.. I DID! Rob
Wonderful old Chrysler... Love the lighting...particularly the headlight. You've shown us just enough to get us to want to see more. Well done.
Interesting image! :)
Cool shot!!
Excellant capture of some great reflections.
Figures, you go to an air show and take pictures of a car! That looks like my dad's old car...(love those reflections!)
Very cool, Tara! Love all the little details in the reflections!
I love this shot! The reflections are stunning, as I've come to expect, and the details are quite marvelous! I'm really taken by the blue and yellow shape in the headlight itself. I have no idea why, but it reminds me of a cartoon fish or sorts! Ah, life is good when you can see cartoon fish in headlights! This is a fantastic shot; it's so rich!
Very nice capture of this fine auto....
I am smiling.... I took a walk throught town yesterday - saw loads of reflections... Inspired by who, I wonder... Clive
Beware the incredible flying Chrysler! A little known fact is that all Chrysler products could fly until 1956. Then Virgil Exner gave them futuristic wings for 1957 and this caused a tear in the Time/Space Continuium that rendered all Chryslers earthbound from that time forward. LOL. So, was this an air show and a car show combined? I love this picture! Nothing like a great old chromemobile, preferably in black, for great reflections. I love the depth of field within the reflections and the way the paint makes everything look far away and close up at the same time. This is very immediate and makes me feel like I'm actually there. Wonderful work.
Love this. enigmatic reflection :)
Awesome shot and great reflections...
Love the way you presented this. :)
"Here's the World War One flying ace High over France in his Sopwith Camel." That's what went through my head when I look at the reflections. Actually that was the third thing that when through my head. Chip beat me to the first. "That's a cute little fish. Look at those eyes!" The second was, "What the bleep is that section of blue and white and black? Is that a reflection?" Then I saw the plane and thought of Snoopy. A closer inspection reassured me on one point. I'm not really sure what it is, (a building or tent?), but seeing it also in the rim of the light assured me that is a reflection and there are some kind of poles in front of it. It's very curious that the blue and white stripes go around it. Now I see what looks like a reflection of the wing of the aircraft! Is it a reflection of the blue and white strips as well? Reflections being reflected again in the shine of the car at the Air Show? Whatever! It's an excellent shot full of intriguing reflections!
And cars had eyeballs and grins and scared little kids like me..
