Chains--by the Beatles

This looks like something you'd find in a particular truckyard in Chicago, only nicer! What color too, and I love the pattern of the chain. Rust is always so fascinating to look at, contemplate, and photograph...and I have to say that hearing the Beatles singing about Chains and looking at this is nicely surreal. I love the effect! Brilliant. Brilliant photography too!
Yeah, rusty chains have so much character. Great find and shot. Aloha
Quite a shot! Looks to be hand-forged chain, rather uneven in sizes and joints. Why was it wrapped around this log, any ideas?
Rusty chains look good but hard on the clean hands, lol Nice shot...
Makes a wonderful still life!
interesting shot, like the rusty textures
jolies chaines!!!!
Gorgeous rust! What a great find, very beautiful shot!
Most gorgeous! The color of the rusted chains contrasts so well against the lovely green! Bravo! :)
The oxidation of the chains emit a cool red orangey effect in this fine foto, M.
The iron oxide makes for an autumn glow on these chains. I have Fleetwood Mac playing 'The chain' in my mind!
cool shot
Yeah ... I got "Chain of Fools" by Aretha Franklin. LOL! Apparently there are a lot of songs to go with this image, depending upon your age! :D Excellent image!
Thanks for the link:-) Or should I say links? I really like this:)
Very nicely done!
Between the rusty chain and the wood that it rests on - there are some fantastic textures to ZOOM in on. Dana
