Description
This is Angel, my son's cat! The night of the burglary she was terribly spooked from about 3 hours before they striked and I do believe that she saw them when they stole some vintage wine through a slightly ajar window - the same window we leave open for the cats. She disappeared for 48 hours after the burglary. We were so worried about her as she was VERY pregnant at the time. Her kittens were born 2 days after her return - definitely premature. She has 6 babies of which 1 didn't make it. The other 5 are doing great. I shot this image the day before they were born!
Thank you for popping in and for your wonderful support in comments and favs on my "Mother and Child" upload of yesterday.
Stay well!
Hugs
Carin xx

Aww...what a wonderful capture of her!! I LOVE this!:-) Gratz on the babies!
Oh poor thing! What a horrible thing to happen just when she needs it calm and secure! She's a beautiful cat, and I'm glad she still has five of her babies.
What a sweet shot--amazing how sensitive animals can be. I'm so glad she's ok. Good think I'm not close, I don't think I could say no to one of her kittens!!
A perfect capture! Sorry she had to go through that, but cats are resilient.
What a beautiful cat! I hope that the other kittens babies can do it!

SUPERB IMAGE, FASCINATING EXPRESSION!
stunning cat portrait! RS
I love cats, and she's a beautiful one!
The very definition of concentration. A wonderful shot of a very pretty kitty. Animals really are smarter than we are. I live in earthquake country and once, when I was getting ready for work, my cat jumped from the couch and ran to the patio door. She stood there screaming to get out. Very unusual for her. Several minutes later the building began to shake.
