Description
This is Angel, my son's cat! The night of the burglary she was terribly spooked from about 3 hours before they striked and I do believe that she saw them when they stole some vintage wine through a slightly ajar window - the same window we leave open for the cats. She disappeared for 48 hours after the burglary. We were so worried about her as she was VERY pregnant at the time. Her kittens were born 2 days after her return - definitely premature. She has 6 babies of which 1 didn't make it. The other 5 are doing great. I shot this image the day before they were born!
Thank you for popping in and for your wonderful support in comments and favs on my "Mother and Child" upload of yesterday.
Stay well!
Hugs
Carin xx

Awww bless her sweet heart, to have witnessed those bad people. Thank God she is safe, but so sad to read that one of her babies didn't make it. I wish her and her kittens well, and look forward to any updates Carin, hugs Jane xx
Rembrandt perfect lighting effects in this foto of Angel, apparently ruminating on her upcoming multiple blessed event, Carin. The whiskers, though most slender, are a winner.
Beautiful kitty!!! :>
Wonderful shot!
Those guide hairs (whiskers) are so very long and beautiful and you really brought those out nicely in this shot. Great lighting and I can't wait to see those babies. I had a litter of preemies once and they all did very well so take heart.
Excellent capture! Sounds like you had a Cat-burglar. Lucky she managed to escape when they got drunk on that vintage wine. ;)
She is just adorable, great capture of her. : )
Beautiful cat and capture Carin. She looks so sweet. Dana

As a cat lover I might be biased but I think this is a lovely image :)
Lovely cat shot. I hope you will have some picture of the kitties as well.
She looks so sweet and innocent! You'd never know she'd got knocked up twice running, would you? :P Such a gorgeous photograph! I'm so glad she's okay and safely home. You'll have to show me pics of the babies! :) Ek het jou lief, Dierbaar! :X
beautiful capture - great kittie shot!
So glad to hear she is back with you and got her kitten at your place... animals have a sense for unusual times, they definitly do, but it is normally not so easy to read them properly...smile Thanks, Carin, for this wonderful shot!
Wonderfully captured moment!!

Beautiful cat and capture ,Carin ! She looks so sweet!
Look at the expression !!
Cats have such amazing eyes, and they know how to use them. It's been discovered that they have a gland behind each eye that generates "cute beams" that they turn on like headlights. I have this on good authority from a number of cats who utilize their cute beams shortly after stealing something from the kitchen table and leaving uneaten remnants of it under the living room sofa. Ah, cats! I love 'em...they're so shameless! And adorable! I love the light in this picture; it highlights those eyes and those oh-so-impressive whiskers! This is a stellar photo!
Glad she is safely back home and that the majority of her Litter made it. I read already a few articles of cats that saved people before their houses burnt down.I am waiting to see a picture of the kittens. Outstanding capture of Mother Cat.
What a lovely cat i hope the rest of the babies do well
Wonderful image *****.
