Description
Most times when I'm shooting in the dark, I'll use a flash such as done in this picture. If not, then a tripod is a must. But for that split second that it takes to set up your tripod in the dark, the lava changed shape and colors. It all depends on what effects you want. The white sparkles are mainly reflection from my flash. But some of it also tells me that my camera sensors needs cleaning. Aloha and thank you for viewing

This is amazing. Thank you for going out to get such wonderful shots for us.
Spectacular and glad to hear how you take these wonderful shots.
You really have kept that "liquid" feel in this shot. The heat radiates from this.
Another great capture, I can feel the heat from here !!

A wonderful molten capture and it is no wonder your camera needs a clean when you get this close.
amazing stuff Errol.I hope you carry a very good flaslight
A little of that heat would be welcome here, we've had a cold april so far!!
Imagine there to be some ash involved with these expeditions. I am bad about keeping equipment clean, but as they say, "Love your camera". A warm and wonderful image!
Excellent image!
wow this is super wonderful
congratulations, you will better paint your bedroom withe..:)
Not to mention in the time it takes to set up the tripod, you could end up catching fire:). Nice shot dude, love it at night; the orange glow really pops! You're the man!
That why I thought the thread '40 questions I ask myself before pressing the shutter release' was SO funny!
Wonderful capture , Errol !
a tiny lake of lava with a powerful effect! ;o)
