Yea, but then you'd have to get all the little crackles of dark shades and varied hues of red and then the room would have to glow in the dark and all that...not worth the headache, trust me! :-) Still this is a GORGEOUS shot! Seriously, how close do you get to these flows to take such stunning shots?
I would not suggest to paint it that color, especially that texture to look like lava.... You might have a bad dream and wake up thinking you life has ended and you're in Hell... but then again, you might like that type of excitement since you get so close to these lava areas - lol
If you are a sound sleeper, I'm sure it wouldn't bother you, until the morning, and then you wake up with a suddenness that may not be pleasant. ;c) I'd rather wake up in a more peaceful state, myself. I do like the color, but in smaller portions, such a flower. lol

Iceshark39....Depending on the size of the lava ooze, I'll usually stand about 5-10 feet away, just long enough to get a shot or two.
Ha....now that is something 'I' would do!
It's not so much the color (which would probably keep ME awake, lol), as the fact this looks like a very mean dog (or am I the only one who sees that???)

Now that's a cool one. The striations in the glowing lava make it look as though it's being ripped apart. Awesome shot my man!
I do not recall where or what, but I did paint something similar color.I think it was a business.how are you going to take a molten sample of lava to the paint store to match the color.I want to see that!!
