Description

I had just flown in on this magnificent bird from Heathrow on a subsonic flight. The aircraft spent the day flying passengers out over the Bay of Biscay on supersonic champagne flights before taking more passengers on a subsonic back to Heathrow. This day was one of the highlights of my life.

This photo has a dreamy soft lighting, as if to emphasize the event. You lucky devil to get a ride AND this gorgeous shot! Excellent.

Historic aircraft... and a supersonic one at that? Hey but maybe we should dust off some old biplanes for trans-Atlantic flights ... Volcano-proof? ;-) Thanks for sharing the photo!

This is exciting...have recently visited Boeing's Museum of Flight and walked through and around a British Airways Concorde now on permanent display in the Seattle, Washington area. It was a thrill just doing that...I can only imagine taking a flight!!! Historic shot here.
