Description

Back in the late 80's I was lucky to be working for an electrical contractor who had the job of installing an electric cable in the roof of the Concorde hanger at Heathrow, to power the overhead cranes. This gave me access to many photo opportunities and as you see here, this is a collage of the seven tails and one nose which in itself is a rare shot. I hope that you enjoy some different pics of that icon.

Un avion magnifique. Mais extrêmement bruyant. Jusqu'au crash de juillet 2000, les vols supersoniques, voire hypersoniques, semblaient représenter une voie possible pour le transport aérien. Désormais, seule la taille compte. Pour avoir visité les hangars de maintenance de la Lufthansa, sur l'aéroport de Francfort, je sais que ces hangars sont le meilleur endroit pour avoir la meilleure vision des appareils, car on a le temps de les admirer.
