Description

On USS Lexington CV-2, a sailor climbs a "Jacobs ladder" to a "boat boom" at Newport News shipyard in 1934. Laid down orignally in 1927 as a battlecruiser, USS Lexington was 880 feet in overall length and had a beam with of 106 feet. And you said, 'I shall be a lady forever,' So that you did not take these things to heart, Nor remember the latter end of them.
