Description

Ensign Robert Kirk hot dogs a landing of a Boeing 314 "Clipper" flying boat, right down the middle of the fairway past Pearl Harbor berths 1 and 2 in 1940. In only a matter of months later he would be assigned to the carrier he zipped past - CV6 Enterprise. Awesome picture - love your trail effects in the water from the plane... Is that true that a Kirk was on the Enterprise??? or are you pulling out leg? Is that where Rodenberry got the name Kirk??? Interesting, very Interesting - oops, that wasn't Kirk, that was Laugh-In - lol
