Description
The red-crowned crane is the symbol for Longevity, luck and fidelity in East Asia. I think it is the most beautiful of all cranes, it's also very rare.
According the the International Crane Foundation, there are only about 1,200 of these in the wild. Most of the population live in China with only about 900 birds living on Hokkaido in Northern Japan.
These birds were created by Ken Gilliland as part of his Songbird Remix Shorebirds Volume 1 at Daz3d.

A creation with a story and meaning...the best kind...
This looks like a huge and magnificent oil painting that has hung over the mantle in a fine English mansion for generations. It's a masterpiece...I hope you get a giclee print done of this and frame it with some heavy gilded frame and hang it prominently! This one is just drop dead gorgeous.

Didn't know this about red-crowned cranes. Fascinating. In addition to liking the entire scene, I particularly like the way you've rendered the water.
The birds are great, but I like the sky best. There is a beautiful light in the clouds, and if you compare the left part of the sky with the right, the difference is almost blinding. Also the light in the grass to the left is beautiful. .
