Now, you see, most people would have put the lighthouse in the obvious spot, on the rocks at the left. But you heighten the visual interest by going against the flow. Excellent image. I like the sloop and feel like going sailing. I can smell the salt air.

Oh Patty, this is NICE! I love the cloud bank! The light and design of it are wonderful! Excellent the way the brightly lit area merges the sea and land, and silhouettes the lighthouse and lines of the ship (which was a steal, BTW)Lovely composition and beautiful light and shadow on the water!
