Description
We've had a cold snap here, with temperatures below freezing for several days. We took Thursday afternoon off and headed to the Columbia River Gorge to shoot some frozen waterfalls. This is one of my favorite shots.
There's a gallery from the trip here

Oh Dennis! looks as though it has been sprinkled with icing sugar. Your other photos are wonderful too.
Welcome back! It's a fantastic image! Wonderful shot! :)
Ken and I were in the Gorge Thursday afternoon doing the same thing as you and Deb! I wish we had seen the two of you there. This is a great shot.
So great to see you on the boards again! This is amaaaaaaaaazing :) I just recently suffered a long dry spell without my puter, but managed to save most of my files. Will go have a look at your new site :D Merry Christmas!!
WOW! And an even larger WOW!! Well done!
Amazing shot.
I was reading about the cold in Oregon. Great shot of the frigid temps. ;-)
Great Image Bravo Dennis
This is fabulous. Out of the ones in your link, the Horsetail Falls shots are the most amazing to me. How different from what I saw last spring. It was cold then, I can't image it frozen!
Nice work. Opportunity -- taken!
WOW! This is truly amazing. Wonderful shot. Welcome back.
What a great POV love the bridge and such a majestic scene, beautifully done!!
Gosh, that's a great shot. Must have been really cold for running water to freeze. Nice to see a post from you.
Oh wow at first I thought it was only small until the bridge at the bottom put it into perspective. Great photo.
It's amazing how far the spray flies. This really shows it off! I can't wait for it to warm up, though. Man, this cold thing is getting old fast! In the meantime, thanks for going out and braving the temps to get these gorgeous shots! Your gallery is wonderful.
OMG, I have been to Multnomah falls many times but never seen it like this. Wonderful shot

Beautiful capture!
It's funny, I just mentioned your name yesterday, wondering if you were taking advantage of this cold & frozen snap we're having? Somehow I knew you would be... Incredible image!!! Nice to see you again... I hope you have a wonderful holiday season!!!! warmest regards Dennis!!!! Akemi
Wow! I wish I could see this in person. Thanks. Aloha
Wonderful composition, looks superb !!! 5* Wish you a Happy New Year !!! Hugs Karin:)
Oh, I missed this in December. Great shot of the frozen falls and I loved the "lunatics" climbing the ice...pitons, ropes, picks and all. They must be training to climb mountains in Nepal:)
