Description
The creature, wounded from the gunshots but seemingly more annoyed than badly injured, stomped off back down the creek until it was out of sight.
Jane ran over to where Dee had fallen and the two women hugged each other with relief. It was all over - for now! They had survived the attack, but knew that they could not just leave it there. Sooner or later, they would have to face it again...

For some reason, this was a bit of a pig to render with it dropping out part way through, despite having rendered these two in the Stony Creek set before without any problems - maybe because this is closer up? Anyway, I got there in the end with a bit of cheating.
There's a natural pause in the story here, so I may post a couple of other images, but don't worry, it will continue soon!
