Description
We followed this small stream in the Smoky Mountains park for some distance. The stream varied from perhaps 3 ft(1 m) width to 10 ft(3 m), small but beautiful and full of rushing water.
More water flows on the foreground side of the photo out of view.
I shot this with a slow shutter to add smoothness to the water.
Please see my previous image for an overview of the park from a high point.

Wonderful capture my friend.
Inspiring Tom. The slow shutter speed is still something I haven't applied to rushing water. Have a big river nearby but not many babbling brooks and no waterfalls here in eastern Kansas. Well done.
Very nice, Im gonna have to try this :)
Well done - the rocks, plants and dead leaves really set off the rushing water.
Not only did the slow shutter speed give that soft feel to the water but it also brought out the lichen and moss on the rocks. A real welcoming feeling to this.
its lovely there . . beautiful shot

Beautiful, Tom. I would like this precious little spot. Have the best day. Hugs. Diane. xx
This is exceptional!
This really is a very lovely photo Tom. If you know how I would suggest boosting the contrast and saturation a little or if you have something with a "vibrance" slider give that a poke and see what happens
Fantastic capture! I always have wonder how to get the water like that, now i know =) Thank you so much
