Description
Captured 9/26/09, early in the morning, off a busy street about 1.5 miles/2.41 kilometers from my hectic haven.
Ta-ta, and thankx for looking in.
Okay, time for a post script and a reply to some of the comments below:
Each morning the pigeons congregate on cables and wires above, and in front of, an Asian Indian temple, waiting for a sari-clad lady to emerge with a huge bowl of pigeon feed to scatter the food about on an area adjacent to the temple. That's when the avians swoop down in force to get their fill of that wonderful stuff.
Also, what you see at the lower edge of some of the photos is not a street corner but a driveway. The area is nowhere near a corner.

I love when the sunlight hits them and the fantastic colors are seen. Nice collage!
Somebody must feed them at that location...and quite a variety of colors they come in..

LOL... I was thinking exactly the same as jocko500... Great collage of these feathered friends and their spooky shadows Harry. :)
That somebody who must feed them at that corner isn't you is it Harry? Actually. they look like commuters just waiting for a bus:) Cool collage. You never really know what you are going to find on your early morning walks.
Harry's hectic haven! I love your names for your domicile! Great images! Wonderful long shadows of their legs! Like long, skinny twigs.
Great collage Harry and each individual photo could stand alone. Love the way you worked down from a single pigeon to a entire flock. Well done! Dana
Fantastic collage of excellent shots.
A spectacular array of pigeon shots! The shadows are great. I esp. like the 3rd image for shadow pics. It seems they are staring at the shadows, too.
That's a lot of pigeons. We don't have many anymore. I think the seagulls over took them. Great shots.
Ha! The world famous, multiplying pigeon's.... Great idea to increase the numbers like that.. Sorry I'm soooo late in commenting, quick to post, painful to sit for too long.. Thus, only a few at a time.. Great shots... Rob
well trained those pigeons...and some fine shots, Harry...smile
