Description
I was in three minds about which genre to choose for this image - cityscape, mood or humor... LOL...
This is for Mark, Tara, Chip, Corey, Marilyn, Dave, Cheri and for Bill who wanted to be there and for Rob who has been there recently... My Chicago experience.
I told Tara this morning - I have landed at & took off from O'Hare three times and have spent 5 days in Chicago and this is the best cityscape view I got!!! Seriously!!! I shot this image from the John G Shedd Aquarium...
At least I got a few shots around my hotel taken while running to and from meetings and a couple of them were in brief sunshine... I might upload some later!
I still believe Chicago is a marvelous city and I absolutely HAVE to go back!!
Thanks for popping in and for your very valued comments and favs on my Pretty Polly upload yesterday!
Stay well!
Hugs, Carin xx

What a beautiful capture. The softness of the photo really enhances the whole scene. Excellent work.

What a gorgeous shot!
Eerie look to Chicago. Shame you didn’t get to see a better skyline. Next time. Dana
Lots of times fog outdoes sunshine for interest and mood. This is really super.
Wow! Whata a fantastic shot. :)
I have only been at the airport changing planes to Buffalo. outstanding fogged cityscape
are they mists? wonderful mood they lend to the image.. I like that bird top left too, just visible but adds a nice touch :)
Carin, when you do go back you have to let Dave and I know. We will meet you there and just have a great time. I love this shot, sorry I am so late. This is gorgeous and I have a suspicion as to where you we standing while taking this.
