Wow, soooo dramatic!! Excellent light and shadows, this is my nightmare... to be silenced!! Everytime my husband tells me to hush, I tell him it's not humanly possible, won't be showing him this image ;-) Excellent work!!!
Excellent work!!
Excellent work!
Great render
OOOo Nice!!!
Spooky "damsel in distress" image. Hope no one is being censured this way. ^_^ Very nice work!
Impressive.....!!!!
wow....great work here, wonder what she has to be "hush, hush" about? great render!
Nice!
Absolutely!!!! Go for it, hun!!!!
Oh yes... the sound of silence. Things like tall poppies comes to mind actually. The moment one stands above the rest, it is cut down to size very quickly. I know... Rendo has to play by the rules... just, there is no justice on the internet. I couldn't even get a lawyer and go to court with a judge and jury and present a case. Democracy is dead, dictatorship is alive and thrashing. I guess we better get use to it. Thanks Laura... many a true word is spoken in silence.
Not sure what you are referring to but you sure made a point about censorship? Nice render.
Very impressive and beautiful artwork, excellent done.
Excellent
Well said! Well rendered! I know of what you speak and what is denied!
Have heard about this too, and yes, I am quiet too, but at this time... there is nothing similar place!
There are rules and there is stupidity. I think Renderosity is losing sight of the large picture; they can certainly request (or even pull) images that they don't want to host, but banning is ridiculous, even for a short time. That's just insulting.
Nice image and I know what your talking about too. It is sad when there are some with such narrow views of what art is and get offended by certian images.. if they dont like them they dont have to look at them..or comment on them. I agree to ban is just stupid!!
I love this render! I have stated my position on this matter over on RGUS's render, and this expresses my words beautifully. Thank You!
wonderful work
Good comments and a powerful image.
silence can be loud, very loud. and momster, this is a bummer stunner XD huggels
Powerful Image and Silence... with no words said. That's what a true visual artist is.. Five star for the spirit of the image! Though I had not seen the picture, from the comments and public feedback, there seem a consensus on this matter. Called it public conscience. So, despite the good intent of the rules. I hope the people at Rendo who make unilateral judgement can take heed. But isn't it hard to take a vested power away from someone that has served as a self-appointed judgement by a "autocractic regime"... Call it technological power in our civilizations in this "first world cyber age" , but human power in "3rd world medieval age"..
As I said: There are masses of pictures that show the same pose and a cross in the galleries - except the fact that most of these crosses are decrated with celtic knots (but they are still crosses). And then one of them, IMHO the most thoughtful and artistic one causes a ban. Is this something I MUST understand?!
Laura, This is very powerful work, but of course I would expect nothing less from you. I've been out of the loop for a couple of days, but I know about Rendo's heavy handed practices from personal experience. I am seriously considering removing all of my work from Rendo. I am so tired of the uneven and inconsistant application of the rules, as well as how ridiculous some of the rules are. This is not conducive to an artistic environment. I may not be the greatest of artists, but I have also held back many works because of the render nazis. If any one has interest in developing a more open site, and getting out from under the thumb of the rendo folks, write to me. There has to be a better way. BiggDevo
Excellent dedication !
the lighting work on this makes it exceptional Laura
Excellent render! Gets the point across very poignantly! ;)
Very dramatic way to make your point. Powerful imagery and really striking. Great posing and lighting.
