Description
This Beautiful Golden Eagle eagle is named for its golden brown plumage, with head and nape feathers are a little slightly lighter, golden color. The golden eagle is between 26-33 inches in height, the eagle has a wingspan of 78 inches (over 7 feet long) and weighs 3.4 to 7 kg. Adults have a bill which is a bit smaller and darker than that of other eagles. They can live for 30 years or more in the wild.
One little known fact is that they are among the fastest raptors in the world and can reach speeds of 150mph in a dive. And show amazing grace in flight, and also as can be seen here as it lands with the wonderful balance and poise.

impressive!
WOW, btw, I wonder when I see the eyes of an eagle or a hawk, and compare to the ones of a cat or other felins, there are similarities. They are predators and have the habit to watch hardly their environment. Maybe that's the reason.
Wish you a nice day Dan, Grego.
Beautiful and amazing " Golden Eagle ", another simple grab shot. I bought a new digital camera today, a point and shoot, which could give me 16 X 20's.
