Description
This afternoon while walking through Bourne Woods near Farnham Surrey UK. I came across the film set for the new Ridley Scott's Robin Hood film. Security was nowhere to be seen. So I took the opportunity to take a few photos.
Nothing in films is what it seems, here is a classic case looks like stone, in fact it's plastic. The back was open with loads of scaffolding holding it up.
Thank you for looking, as always any comments or suggestions welcome 8~)

Great shot and treatment.
Looks real enough from the front. Great capture. Hugs. Spider. xx
I Love it!
Looks like the real thing from here. Set producers are an ingenious lot.
Hey you're promoting the film and you don't even realize it. Now when it comes out I am going to have to go see it just to see if I see your cart and your castle in it. LOL Great shot!
A wonderful trio of images today, David, and lucky opportunity! How disappointing to hear that it is plastic scaffolding! Well, that's the magic of movie making, to make us believe it it real! :)
I love Robin Hood ! awesome castle too !
This is a cool looking set piece! Great shot! Did you see any of the actors?
Those set builders certainly do a fine job. When they filmed 'The Eagle Has Landed' at Mapledurham, they built an exact replica of the church and mill. They used the real items for internal shots but the external views of those buildings being damaged by gunfire and explosions were the replicas. You couldn't tell them apart before they blew them up though. :-)
Fantastic image!!!
plastic ??? NO kidding!!! Wow ... could have fooled me! nice shot David :)
Lovely shot; lucky you to find this unguarded!
right time, right place.... and no security, great luck there. (the sad thing is that even tho this is a set, it's still better built than most of the homes that most people live in today)
Interesting find, excellent capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
