Description
View from the top of the Sears Tower in Chicago on June 5, 2009.
ZOOM is a must.
Here we are looking to the east at Lake Michigan.
There is a "Skydeck" on the 103rd Floor that was closed in early June due to construction of an outside balcony. The 99th floor observation deck is inside but has a commanding view in all directions. Well worth your time if you get a chance to visit Chicago.
Thanks for stopping by,
Bill:)

Yow--that's HIGH---what a view!!
A most beautiful capture indeed!
Such a lovely shot of a Great Lake, downtown and Grant Park. Makes me miss living eight blocks away because it was always "cooler near the lake" in summer!
Well isn't that lovely?! A view I've never seen before and surprised at how massive Lake Michigan is. A very nice shot, Bill, and I'll bet from what I've heard that you wouldn't want to be taking this shot from the outside deck in winter!
remarkable image!
great view!!!!! Fantastic photo!!!!!
fantastic shot!!! The red building is magnificent.....I would be shaking in my boots if I was more than 5 ft above the ground!!
Although I suffer from virtigo, this is a great shot and a wonderful view.Quite taken with the red block, right of center.Headquarters of the U.S Communist party??. :) View From the 99th Floor ~ East, would seem to suggest there could be some other compass points coming, so I'd better lie down til my head stops spinning, thanks for sharing another TOP image.
Wow... that is some view and you look to be up high enough to be in an aeroplane. Great capture.
Awsome capture!! I can even see the hotel I stayed in last time in Chicago. Its so small.
Way to go Bill! This has cleaned up to a staggering standard!!! I'm HUGLY impressed! Stunning work on your part. Rob.
Again so many colors in those buildings and such a crisp and clear view, amazing, Bill
