Description
View from the top of the Sears Tower in Chicago on June 5, 2009.
ZOOM is a must.
Here we are looking to the east at Lake Michigan.
There is a "Skydeck" on the 103rd Floor that was closed in early June due to construction of an outside balcony. The 99th floor observation deck is inside but has a commanding view in all directions. Well worth your time if you get a chance to visit Chicago.
Thanks for stopping by,
Bill:)

I am still always amazed at how big Lake Michigan looks. You can't see the other shore, it's like a landlocked ocean, minus the salt of course. This is a really great shot.
HOW COOL! My daughter was JUST there this weekend, too! She probably stood in this exact spot! :) :) :) She was on a band trip; she had a great time! She brought me home a pewter key chain too, its of the Chicago cityscape :)
What a spectacular view and excellent capture of the lake. I spent some time visiting an ad agency in one of those corner offices, but not facing the lake. The sunset was amazing, though, and the evening lights coming on. So many years ago and still very memorable.
Beautiful catch of sight to this heights not large thing which blocks the sight like. Cheer. It is hipper brilliant ((5++)) Belle prise de vue à cette hauteurs pas grand chose qui bloque la vue comme . Bravo . C'est hipper génial ((5++))
breathtaking view! the word spectacular is an understatement!
Outstanding shot of a wonderful view. What is the silver, bent up beer can looking building to the left of the one under construction? Interesting looking place.
Chicago is a city I've always wanted to visit...Awe inspiring photo...!!!
Spectacular view! I know you guys must have had a blast!
Utterly fantastic POV, depth, clarity and cubism in this awesome photograph, Bill, but I feel an attack of acrophobia coming on. That is real high, and Lake Michigan looks enormous!
Fantastic view Bill. Yes, zoom is a must!

Amazing view and photo
WOW Bill, a fantastic shot, almost made me feel dizzy. Thanks for bringing these lovely pics here. I would love a trip to America.
A spectacular view. Wonderful photo.
I like to build, yet have little interest in structures made to rise skyward, I can appreciate what it took to create these land space saving places. The photo is a great one with color and detail abound. Well done
99 floors, I am getting dizzy just imagining that :(...Great shot my friend, even if I could not look for too long!
