Description

The journey was long, he heart heavy having left he true love. Duty called him home, he hated leaving but times would not allow them to be together. So he would make the best of things. He ran into the house looking for her, his wife, he hadn't seen her in months and wondered how she was doing. He called for her, and hearing his voice told him she was on the terrace. As he walked through the door her eyes glistened with tears as she went to him. Taking her into his arms he whispers, "I'm here now..." Thank you all for you past comments an faves!!

Beautiful work. Not unlike those 30-40's movies where the hero dashes in to see his love before being off again. The stiffness helleshoi notes was actually part of the scene, both knowing this was just a brief encounter. As soon as the hero was out the door, sometimes before, the heroine would throw herself to the floor (or piece of furniture) sobbing. They don't make scenes like that in movies anymore. Thanks for the reminding us what it was like!
