Description

The Hoover Dam Bypass Project (which includes the New Colorado Bridge) is a complex project made up of four miles of roadway (two lanes in each direction), eight bridges, wildlife crossings, a 2,000 foot-long bridge over the Colorado River and various pedestrian and visitor improvements. Because of the magnitude of this project, it will be constructed in four distinct phases: the Arizona Approach, the Nevada Approach, the Colorado River Bridge, and final roadway surfacing. Construction of the Arizona approach has begun followed by the Nevada Approach in this perspective one can not see the workers on the left side but they are there thanks for viewing and comments.I am still way behind in the galleries. I found my safe by a local creek but it and contents were ruined and none of my software was there.

Very nice shot on an obviously colossal construction site, since the engineers, put down the cables of lifts of the ark, in parrallel in the advance of the apron! Nice workmanship of jobs of this type! Splendid wild place with a bridge and scaffolding which gives here the good idea of what is the man on Earth: a labour of ant! Very impressive! thank you Richard!!!

I saw film on which there was an installation of the first support, there it was in detail told about complexity of the project and winds which influence rates of construction.

This is the first I've seen of this project...I'm sure it costs a fortune but everybody can't keep driving over the top of the dam forever. Glad you posted this excellent construction photo.
