Description
These flowers grew behind my grandmother's house. I always loved them but never saw them again. One day I am visiting a friend and their neighbor had all different colors along her house. She let me take some seeds home and now I have the prettiest patch of hollyhocks in many colors of pink, from purple to pale pink.
I created this image in XaraXtreme4 from a photograph I took of my hollyhocks last summer. I'm very happy with it. My best XaraX so far.
I hope everyone has a grand weekend and a happy Easter, if they celebrate it. Everyone should at least get a few chocolate eggs even if they don't celebrate Easter. Chocolate is non-denominational :)

My computer is on its last legs. It's over 5 years old now and is running very slow. I'm not sure how much longer she'll keep going. If I drop off the face of the Earth one day, don't worry. I'll just be gone finding a new computer, lol.
Take care, Nancy

Wow Nancy, that is some incredible work! 10+
truly gorgeous Nancy ... These are so well done, worthy of being framed and hung up in a special place. The colors and details are beautiful. Excellent work my friend!! Hoping you don't "disappear from the face of the earth.". = )
One of my favorite flowers. This is wonderful work. I love how it resembles a watercolor in color and feeling and how you bring out the finer details as if those had been done in pen. I love my Mac. Sometimes computer failures are not a bad thing . . . you get to explore all your other options with newer technology. Happy Easter and/or Happy Chocolate to you as well! : )
You've done a wonderful job, they're really pretty, great colours too :) I tried to grow them from seeds once and didn't succeed :( I just bought myself an Easter bunny, dark chocolate ;)
It's great to see you exploring your creativity further through this program. Really lovely work.
