Description
These flowers grew behind my grandmother's house. I always loved them but never saw them again. One day I am visiting a friend and their neighbor had all different colors along her house. She let me take some seeds home and now I have the prettiest patch of hollyhocks in many colors of pink, from purple to pale pink.
I created this image in XaraXtreme4 from a photograph I took of my hollyhocks last summer. I'm very happy with it. My best XaraX so far.
I hope everyone has a grand weekend and a happy Easter, if they celebrate it. Everyone should at least get a few chocolate eggs even if they don't celebrate Easter. Chocolate is non-denominational :)

My computer is on its last legs. It's over 5 years old now and is running very slow. I'm not sure how much longer she'll keep going. If I drop off the face of the Earth one day, don't worry. I'll just be gone finding a new computer, lol.
Take care, Nancy

Most excellent work on this photo! It looks like water colors! I adore Hollyhocks, and was tickled pink when a friend gave me some! Mine are sort of a cream color, and I think now I have to get some other colors!

Nancy this is the most beautiful artwork of your Hollyhocks, I just love it so much. I never have much success at growing Hollyhocks, which is sad because I really thinkg they are the most beautiful of flowers. Thank you for this, hugs Jane xx

Wonderful artwork.
Beautiful image - love the subtle colors and detail. Hope the computer works out for you as well. I've done very well with Dell off lease machines. They are very affordable, come with a limited warranty, and XP Pro, not Vista, a decided plus. You can check 'em out at http://www.dfsdirectsales.com/ At any rate, good luck with that!
