Description
Shorewood WI is the suburb just north of me. Kind of a ritzy place with Milwaukee's bigger collections of McMansions and real mansions.
Shorewood is on a high cliff overlooking the western edge of Lake Michigan. Great for the view but pretty daunting if you're looking to visit their sole public beach.
This image is of the entrance to the long ramp and staircase down to the beach. As you can tell from the helpful signage, the beach is open and the water is fine!
Just don't bring your dog.

Love your sense of humor, Dave!!! LOL That beach must not very attractive even in season!!! I'm assuming that "No Pets" includes "Penthouse Pets!" A pet is a pet is a pet!!! LOL Anyway...this is a great shot! Hope things are good for you!

No pets and the water quality is good. Definetly comments on our place and time. I remember Lake Michigan being frozen over for miles out when I was a kid!
