Sharp~Shinned Hawk, I do believe? Correct me if I'm
wrong? It was a beautiful day, the sky was so
blue and it was 53 degrees, I was having a bad case
of spring fever, and there he was... It made my day!
I hope you like it too... I'm literally counting the
days until spring... Aren't you???? enjoy...
It's been suggested that this might be a cooper's hawk... It very well could be, thanks Maria!!!!

Yeah baby!! Even tho- it's a juvy it looks like it's all business. Lovely shot against the blue sky...opportune catch...here's wishing you some nice warm sunshine!! Sending some warm Aloha~
What a wonderful capture. I had a Hawaiian Hawk in my yard once. What a treat. Great job. Spring is just around the corner, I hope. Aloha
What a great picture of the hawk, and especially against the blue sky. It has been a long time since I've seen sky that blue and it is a treat. I love Oregon but these gray skies are getting annoying.
A super shot. Wonderful blue sky. Yes,it won't be too long til spring. Hurray!
Wonderfully!

Built to move quickly and quietly. Great capture. Beautiful bird. I wish you a nice warm summer out of sunny South Africa.
Yay ! :) Awesome looking bird and beautiful photography !! :)
We may have had the same idea on the same day but your photo is the much better photograph. Awesome detail. Love it! Also read your comments on your home page. I feel the same way about Rosity and "talking" to others - there is the same trend. Thanks for sharing. Dana P
Superb bird portrait, and excellent clarity and details in this luminous photo.
Just a juvenile eh? he sure is a handsome one!!! An excellent clear catch Akemi! I'm ready for spring too!!!!
How lovely and regal he looks in this tree, a delightful capture.

Beautiful shot, I've never seen one that close!
Great shot! Well seen and captured!! Could he be a juvenile Cooper's Hawk? I posted one about 10 images back in my gallery, he looks very similar to me.
