Helles beautiful background has really stepped into the background, not so much seen here, but it is essential for the final image.

It is just wonderful to gaze at. I can't decide if it is water or textured glass! Whatever it is you can see the light glowing from behind (or underneath). It makes me want to get closer and touch it. OR...to see what other light colors filter through these textures. Very well done!

I think you've most certainly captured the essence of the metamorphosis theme! A wonderful soothing and flowing feeling accompanies what I am viewing.... excellent and masterful artpiece!
Wonderful news .. not it's time to play!! This is what I see in your delightufl texture play: I am high, high, riding along in a satellite (they have compartments now for people, giggles) and I am looking down at the earth as we are passing over the Himalayas. Not a cloud in the skies today, a perfectly clear day! What luck!

yes Helle's background is in the background, but you captured the essence of it, its inner glow. That's part of the art of metamorphosis I think...It's a silvery-golden chunk of underground metal or rock; and it feels like it's glowing from its own light. Beautiful; and, to me, of the essence of Helle's original image...
