Description
Looks like Ishtar has got the drop on someone who's ticked her off! Better not be you!!
This is for the wonderful Jas (Jollyself) who day after day produces the most delightful and intriguing surrealistic images on the web. She is also a very kind lady who has patiently given me all sorts of pointers on how to work and rework images in photoshop.
I was thinking of trying something completely different in the next Ishtar series, like making the panels into a cartoon using photoshop like I have done here. Just a thought and I will be releasing a second test using Rebelmommy's Mona as Ninshubar in a few days. Not all renders turn out really well in this cartoon poster form so it is still up for debate. I think this one did work pretty well so I release it for your comments now.
UPDATE re Eekdog's comment: This was rendered in poser 7 & and then postworked in photoshop CS4 by myself with no additional filters other than what comes with CS4... ain't it a great program?

Beautiful pinup and pose... :o) Excellent with the cartoon style... :o)
Wow, not sure what to say. Wasn't expecting this but it did turn out like a fantastic cartoon. Glad to see you experiment with different sytles. This is how one learns and gets beetter. Bet that burn tool did alot of work. Ha!Ha!. She could be the poster for a movie or comic book. I do not know this Adam fellow the folks speak of but It is a bold statement in any event. Good work Roxy. Keep us guessing as to what you will come up with next. Looking forward to the next one.

It's probably safer not to say anything else ;) Great scene, perspective and Photoshop work.

Oooooooh...I'm so glad you're doing this cartoon style :) If I can remember correctly I once said that you should make a comic book...And I'm saying it again.. " YOU SHOULD MAKE COMIC BOOK ROXY !!!" :) Looks great...can't wait the new series :)

Wonderful wonderful image, one of my favorites. The POV is excellent and her expression is telling the whole story! Your choice of using this cartoon (for lack of a better term) post work style was an excellent one. Well done
This is fabulous I love what you have done here it is excellent work. Although I don't render and am a photographer I love working in PS, it is amazing what great effects can be achieved by using this method. hugs Jane xx
Excellent POV, great expression!
excellent posing!! Like the post work too!!
Great lighting. Her face looks gorgeous!
I like this look...very convincing.
Great job! Only one small thing: the arrow should be on the other side of the bow for a right handed archer. Other than that great job!
Sorry Fiferguy but I do not think you are correct. I've always shot a bow on the right side and I am right handed.
Interesting change in style and the pose is very provacative...Nicely done Roxy
Love the Pov on this one and your postwork is excellent - you rock!
Looks like an actual painting...beautiful and wonderful work!!
Interesting effect, you've achieved something that's very interesting visually. Personally, I think you could go either way, it would still look good. Love the POV and the expression on Ishtar's face, here. Nobody does angry women quite like you :)
Beautiful and elegant piece!!!!!
